I am currently in the process of cooking a turkey and all the trimmings for 13 friends tonight. I am having an awesome day as have decided I quite like cooking and it beats work!
I have a lot to be thankful for and I think it's a great idea to remember that at least once a year - in an ideal world I guess we should be thankful every day. Thanksgiving started back in the 17th century when the pilgrims settled at Plymouth (the American one, not in Devon!). They had a bountiful harvest and decided to gather everyone for a big feast to celebrate and to be thankful.
So there we go...every day is a school day!
